With development kicking off soon, we are excited to share the next round of additions and enhancements envisioned for our school. These potential projects have been shaped by the generosity of our community and the ongoing support of the Thankful Project, and we are believing for even more!
Each upgrade has been thoughtfully designed to enhance play, connection, and learning for students across all year levels. While we’re eager to see them come to life, their progress will rely heavily on the success of this year’s registry. Your support makes all the difference.
1. New Seating and Play Additions for Junior High & Senior Students
We are adding lunch seating and outdoor tables outside the Year 4 and 5 classrooms, plus a brand-new concrete table tennis table for students to enjoy. These additions will create a great spot for play and connection during break times. Alongside this, students can look forward to a slackline, a large outdoor chess set, as well as pickleball and tennis nets for active play. These exciting new features are designed to create more opportunities for our older students, and we know they will love them!

2. Upgraded Top Playground and Nature Track
Here are the items you will find on the registry to help give our top playground a full refresh! The wobbly bridge will be replaced with a huge rope cube. The hexagon monkey bars are making way for a large spinner. The main ladder monkey bars will also get a refresh with new handles. We are replacing the rock-climbing wall with a custom version featuring our school colours, logo, and creed. A beautiful way to personalise our playground space. Plus, we will be adding smaller play extras throughout to maximise play value.
Behind the top playground, the large grass walkway is also getting a makeover. It will be transformed into a nature play track complete with stepping stones, rolling logs, and a wooden bridge. This new nature area will be a wonderful addition, encouraging bush play and exploration for all our students.

3. Imaginative Play Zone Under the Magnolia Tree
This shaded area is being transformed into a dedicated space for our Year 1-3 students. The focus is imagination! It will include a mud kitchen, wooden playhouse complete with slide, telescope and ship’s wheel! There will also be a large wooden Jeep, perfect for driving off on those adventures. This space will be barked with wooden seating. We cannot wait to see our kids dreaming, building, and playing here.

4. Lower Playground Expansion
We are upgrading our lower playground to better support our growing Primary School and create even more opportunities for fun and active play.
A rope cube will replace the single-use monorail, offering a fun and challenging climbing feature that many students can enjoy at once. We are also adding a crawl tunnel, sensory panels, and a sensory pipe; all of which are especially popular with our younger children. A sun climber will be installed on the grass area to further extend and expand the playground space.
These additions will bring more variety, space, and fun to our lower playground!

5. Shade Sails for Both Playgrounds
With summer fast approaching, shade sails are a top priority. These will help protect our children from the sun and make our outdoor spaces more comfortable and inviting all year-round. A donation can be given towards this project on the registry.
6. Already on the way!
Two brand-new basketball hoops have just arrived, and netball hoops are on their way — generously donated by some of our wonderful school parents. Installation is happening any day now, and we cannot wait to see our students enjoying them!

How You Can Help
Everything on the Thankful Registry is optional. You do not need to buy or deliver anything, simply choose an item you would like to contribute to, and the school takes care of the rest. Prices vary, so there’s something for everyone who feels inspired to take part.
Thank you for being part of our school family. Let’s keep building something special, one item at a time.
