Special mention to Damian who was awarded the 1st XV’s Most Improved Player of the season Award!

Also a special tribute was given to Tyson as the longest serving member of the 1st XV’s – 4Yrs.

Students who were selected as North Harbour Reps 2017 were also acknowledged.

3 of these 4 were City Impact students!

Also we want to acknowledge and thank Shane Wijohn for taking our rugby students under his wing and for the significant role he plays as a Kristin 1st XV coach and for forging a very special collaborative relationship for City Impact Church School and Kristin rugby.

Raising up Servant Leaders

Raising up Servant Leaders

Our school assemblies are the best and they give an awesome platform for our students to take the lead! At our Buddy Assemblies, students from Years 7-13 step into their roles as ‘Mentors’ for younger students. Our worship team is made up of students throughout the Junior and Senior schools who lead us boldly into God’s presence. At the lighting and sound booth, we have a Production team of students running the show and making everything ‘happen’!

This morning in particular was a great assembly as Teacher Jo announced the winners of the Song Writing competition! Theo Payn and Jack van de Water won the Senior competition with their song ‘One Star Sky’.
Eden Cameron, Sarah Li, Matthew Rushmer on the Junior Competetion with their song ‘Set a Fire.’
